Scot grew up in Charlotte, graduating in 1972 from Charlotte Country Day School. His education took him to Chapel Hill where he graduated with a BS in Business, and Tulane where he got his MBA. Scot started his professional career in the textile industry working for Collins & Aikman Corporation, a worldwide manufacturer of automotive, upholstery and wallpaper products, acting in various sales and sales management positions in New York, Los Angles and Charlotte. In 1984, Scot founded The York Trading Company, a knit fabrics company specializing in fabrics for the sporting goods industry.

For the last fifteen years Scot has focused on the residential housing market in Charlotte helping clients buy and sell homes as both a general brokerage agent and representing new construction and redevelopment projects.

  • Ann was born and raised in Charlotte– Deep roots she is proud of.
  • She is a graduate of Charlotte Country Day School and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
  • Ann is an avid photographer, pet lover,  and occasionally she enjoys a round of golf.

  • Ann started her working life splitting time as a teacher’s assistant at Charlotte Country Day and as an ER Patient representative at Charlotte Memorial Hospital now known as Carolina’s Medical Center.
  • 35 years of successful residential real estate experience at Bissell Hayes Realtors and Helen Adams Realty. Ann was one of the first Charlotte agents to recognize & implement the power of picture brochures to showcase homes, and as well as pioneering the popular “realtor luncheons” an efficient manner to introduce multiple agents to a property quickly. Ann has always been ahead of the curve, expect her to be working on the next “creative edge”!
